My housemate and I are two young, professional, straight dudes, ages 26 and 24 with BA degrees. I am a teacher and a professional athlete and my roommate is a graduate student at Emory. We've new to Atlanta and have lived in this house for almost 2 years now.
Our house is in a historic district just West of Agnes Scott College, within easy walking and driving distance of a bunch of cool places (downtown Decatur, Oakhurst, Dekalb Farmer's Market, Emory, 2 MARTA stations, Stone Mountain). The house is spacious and has wood floors in common areas, carpet in bedrooms. Ceilings are pretty high. Parking is free on the street, always available. The neighborhood is super safe; right across the street from a Middle School and next to Agnes Scott College.
We are looking for someone who is in the age range 18 - 30 years, has a stable job, is quiet and clean, interesting, intelligent, respectful, not an indoor smoker, and drug free. We share a kitchen and we rotate weekly chores. We both cook, are active, and work pretty late some nights. We have friends over on occasion, though this isn't a party house.
Both of us would need to meet you, and we'd like you to see the house if you are interested. Saturday, Sunday during the day, and Monday evenings are good times to stop by and check it out.
