Public company in Alpharetta has an immediate need for 2 accounting managers. The positions are as follows: | Responsible for managing the activities of general accounting functions. Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data. May act as a liaison between the company, government and CPA auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained for historical purposes. | | Minimum Requirements | | 5+ years accounting experience including 2+ years managerial experience
CPA Required, public accounting experience preferred. | | Additional Knowledge & Skills | | Experience with HP3000, PeopleSoft, SAP, Hyperion, TM-1 and/or similar platforms.
Billing - Experience via working in or managing a billing function. System Conversions - Experience with converting billing and/or general ledger systems.
System Evaluations - Experience with evaluating systems for upgrade and/or replacement.
Six Sigma - Posses Six Sigma training and project experience. | | Education | | 4-year degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience |
