Gov’t Contractor seeking administrative assistant to assist Litigation Attorneys with various assignments including administrative management, case file initiation, case file maintenance, case file retirement, and logistics. Responsibilities: Coordinates with various staff members; maintains attorneys’ calendars including scheduling, appointments, teleconference set up, hearing dates, witness interviews, and etc.; Completes inventory and duplication of case documents; Enhances the flow of documents and follows instruction on proper filing; Prepares files for storage; Keeps office supplies stocked and Facilities Manager notified of difficulties or service issues; Makes travel plans including airfare, auto rental and hotel arrangements according to FTR guidelines; Requirements: Performs clerical practices and procedures; Uses MS office Suite to include Calendar, Power Point, Word, Excel and WordPerfect; Possesses internet skills with the capability to do searches and understand how to navigate within web sites including Lexis/Westlaw/other legal research sites; and Corresponds in writing showing excellent grammar skills and the ability to write.
