Job description:
Creating/modifying SQL, Creating/modifying DTS packages, Access queries, Writing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services as well as custom reports as ASPX pages.Design, develop, test and debug new and existing web services applications utilizing the .Net framework.Work closely with management to produce well-designed, functional and user friendly web services for data exchange with third party organizations.Maintain existing web sites and applications enhancing functionality to meet business and security requirements.
Required Experience:
Knowledge of relational database design and implementation a plus; Strong programming knowledge using Microsoft .NET technologies to develop web applications. Strong skills in .NET (ASP.NET, C#, etc.), .Net Framework, Visual Studio, ERP experience required (Great Plains experience is an asset), SQL, SQL scripts and stored procedures, Windows Server, IIS, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript; Solid web development skills using XML, and AJAX experience is a plus (but not required); Extend database functionality using SQL Server 2000/2005; Experience developing web services in Java a plus; 2+ years report development using MS SQL Server Report Service; 2+ years programming in the .Net environment; Image manipulation; databases such as MS Access; Web development tools; 2+ years web services development experience in a technical environment; Excellent communication and documentation skills; Must be a self starter with good organizational and analytical skills with solid ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
