SCM Group USA (a major competitor in the Manufacturing of Woodworking Equipment)has an opportunity for a qualified individual in the Areas of CNC Applications and Software. Main responsibilities include: 1. Support the Sales Force via analysis of Machine-Time Studies, Demonstrations of the equipment and Software/Applications R&D. 2. Support to the currently existing Customer Base. 3. On-site applications and training.
Specific Desired Skills: 1. Knowledge of the AlphaCAM CAD/CAM system is a great plus, other CAD/CAM background is acceptable but overall, having a STRONG background in CAD/CAM is essential. 2. BS in Engineering or equivalent experience, preferably 3-4 Years in the area of CNC operation and programming/tooling. 3. Must be a customer-oriented individual. 4. Travel up to 50-60% of the time. 5. Use of C++/VB and the .NET framework is a plus. 6. Good communication skills.
