I'm an Atlanta based photographer specializing in ambient light architectural interiors photography and 360 degree interactive virtual tours for Internet and/or print use.
Ambient light photography means that I shoot using the available light in the space. As a photographer my aim is to create interior images that convey the designers intent of what the room "actually" looks like and at the same time create a well designed image that stands on it's own in addition to capturing the "feel" of the space. I attempt to choose an angle that brings the viewer into the space rather than creating a lifeless flatly lit "record" of the room.
The human eye adjust to different levels of light as you look around a room, whereas the camera sees everything the same. I shoot a series of exposures that capture the full range of light levels and then digitally combine the images to produce a well balanced and natural looking image that shows what the space actually looks and *feels* like.
