We are a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of stone architectural products.Our product line includes fireplace mantels, kitchen hoods, columns, archways and other products for residential and commercial applications. We are seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to learn how to coordinate projects between our sales staff, production facility and customer base.The successful applicant will be trained to become a Project Manager.Experience in contract negotiations, AIA documents and construction industry billing practices preferred.Previous construction-related trade experience a plus. Responsibilities, under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager, include: * Review and approve project contracts and other documentation. * Plan, direct, coordinate and schedule product design processes for assigned projects. * Coordinate and supervise conceptual development. * Develop cost controls; track costs to prevent overruns. * Determine labor requirements for individual projects. * Ensure compliance with building and safety codes. * Provide information to customers and customer representatives. * Coordinate change order procedures between Sales and CAD departments. The successful candidate will have strong time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
