Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Essential and important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Provide a level of Customer Service that meets/exceeds expectations
-Primary artist for China account
-Works with Customer, Advertising Agencies, Marketing personnel, Game Coordinator, Programming and Manufacturing in development and modification of artwork and design parameters.
-Examines illustrations and layouts proposed and suggests possible approaches to more viable artwork.
-Coordinates with internal departments to ensure that the artwork under development meets productions requirements.
-Develops press-ready artwork, which is used to create printing plates.
-Develops/creates Fonts/Font Tables as needed.
-Be familiar with a variety of industry concepts, best practices, and procedures
Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements
-Degree in Graphic Design or a related field
-Strong practical knowledge of Macintosh computers, Adobe Illustrator andPhotoshop applications, printing processes
-2-5 years experience in the graphic design field is a plus
-Able to demonstrate creative design skills (including portfolio review).
-Good customer service and interpersonal skills a must
-Professional communications skills, both written and verbal.
-Fluent in Mainland China Mandarin (simplified Chinese), both verbal and written
-Ability to travel to China as necessary
-Ability to work alternate hours
Working Conditions:
Work in an office environment. Requires familiarization of printing press environment (but not how to operate a printing press). May require travel to customer location. GREAT SALARY and BENEFITS based on experience.
