Responsibilities: Include developing and coordinating transportation programs/plans with GDOT and other governmental agencies; preparing, developing, and implementing short term and long term initiatives, goals, and projects; seek funding from regional, state, and federal sources; direct and manage the Traffic Operations Section of the Transportation Department; supervise, direct and evaluate assigned staff; reviews and prepares comments in regards to traffic conditions and transportation aspects of proposed developments.

Qualifications:
•MUST possess eight (8) years of experience in roadway design, transportation engineering or traffic engineering
•MUST possess Professional Engineer’s License in the State of Georgia
•MUST possess prior experience in management or supervisory
•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related field
•Prior municipality experience a plus
Location: North Metro Atlanta area
Compensation: $66,810 - $106,897 depending on experience
