Clarke's integrated pest management program is designed to reduce mosquito populations with minimal impact to the environment. This program includes environmental surveillance, control of mosquitoes at the breeding source, and targeted adult mosquito control. Each step of the process contributes to reducing the risk of mosquito borne disease.
Applications are currently being accepted for Clarke's office in Atlanta, GA, near Hartsfield/Jackson International Airport. Seasonal employment will begin in April and go through October (depending on weather).
Field Technician duties may include breeding site inspections, larvaciding applications, catch-basin treatments and adult mosquito control.
Experience and Skills:
In addition to a desire to work outdoors in a great summer job, successful candidates will...
have a valid drivers' license and clean driving record
be 18 years of age or older
good math skills
Be able to effectively communicate in English, both in verbal and written forms
good map reading ability
