Around the Rings (ATR) Inc is an internationally known media organization specializing in business news about the Olympics.
We seek a highly-motivated candidate who wants a challenging permanent position offering exceptional professional growth.
The successful candidate will work in a broad capacity that spans several areas of operation: administrative, customer service, and light IT and some sales work. There is ample opportunity for advancement and growth for the successful candidate. The sales commissions can significantly increase base pay.
Duties include:
- Office administration: maintain office calendar, handle customer calls, office coordination
- Customer service: process subscription orders, troubleshoot subscriber issues, work with on-line subscriber management system
- IT: work with content management system to enter and edit news articles; light photo editing (Fireworks or Photoshop); create weekly HTML based newsletter (training provided in these areas)
- Marketing assistance: maintain email promotional distributionlists; assist with marketing efforts
- Sales: earn extra $$$ fulfilling subscription renewals, new orders. Potential exists for additional generous commissions from assisting sales staff with advertising sales for online and print publications.
Requirements: MS-Office software, Windows operating system. Other computer skills as noted above highly desirable. Good manners essential. Must be dependable.
Foreign language skills highly desirable, especially French or Spanish. ATR readers are found in virtually every country of the world.
Flexible hours in friendly, fast-paced environment. 25 – 30 hours per week; hourly pay rate negotiable; bi-weekly pay.
