1998 - 2007 - I provided in home childcare services at my home
1996- Present- Assist in children programming for children at various Dekalb County Public libraries as a volunteer. I also work with the children via story telling, movie time, interactive play, and arts & crafts.
2001- Present- Mother / Advocate of two active girls ages 2 years old and 5 years old.
2002-Present- Mocha Moms West Dekalb- Currently I am the President of this chapter previously I helped entertain, and coordinate play groups, and educational outings for the children.
2003- Present-Georgia Office of Advocacy- I advocate for special need children in IEP meetings. I go to classrooms for parents to evaluate their child’s daily school day. I help parents with information on how to obtain proper educational testing for their children to determine their child’s educational needs. I assist in helping parents find needed resources for their children such as educational tutoring, special equipment, or support groups. 2005-2007- Room Parent- I was the Room Parent for my daughter’s special education pre-k classroom @ Woodridge Elementary School. I assisted inside the classroom with things such as interactive play, story time, singing, counting and arts & crafts. I also assisted on field trips and coordination of classroom events such as holiday parties, and parent meetings.
Presently- Room Parent- I am the Room Parent for my daughters kindergarten classroom @ Martbut Elementary Theme School. . I assisted inside the classroom with things such as interactive play, story time, singing, counting and arts& crafts. My Rates: In my home: Childcare Rates Weekdays During The Day( up to 8 hours $ 30.00 )for the first child each attional child is $15.00 .. each additional hour after 8 hours is $5.00 per hour Weekdays During The Night (up to 8 hours $35.00) for the first child each additional child is $15.00.. each additional hour after 8 hours is $5.00 per hour Over Night Care:up to(24 hours $50.00) for the first child each additional child $25.00 At Your Home: Prices vary and can be discussed based on your location and needs
