Job Description:
Coordinate and manage all FOIA processes.Analyze effective end-to-end FOIA and PA procedures.Collaborate with various organizations to establish and develop procedures, standards and management of Federal regulations.Prepare official responses, and coordinate those responses with Staff Judge Advocate personnel.Ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and integrity of all information is upheld in accordance with U.S. Statutes.Maintain FOIA web page and update as required.Compile and submit organization annual FOIA operations report to Department of Justice.Support training requirements in conjunction with program deployment.Analyze and recommend improvements to the Executive Agent.Identify methods for developing automation management processes to all users/partners.Identify potential improvements through management analysis techniques in order to develop satisfactory and acceptable alternatives, staff solutions, and to gain management and functional personnel concurrence.Interact with Military Services and DoD representatives to identify problems, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Prepare project papers, staff reports and conduct briefings, deliver findings and recommendations.
Skills/Qualifications:
- BS in Management, Business or Human Resource.
- Must be familiar with the Department of Justiceˇ¦s FOIA program.
- Formal training on the FOIA and PA programs a must.
- Knowledge of information management methods and techniques for assessment of program development.
- Skills in identifying new methods for developing automated process for managing information.
- Working knowledge of regulations governing publications, for recordkeeping, FOIA, and Information Management.
- Knowledge of Risk Management and ability to analyze and implement strategies to mitigate those risk factors.
- Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
