I just wanted to put a post out here to all the HR professionals. I understand that this may not be the forum, however, it is very important to put this message out there. I have been very frustrated with the lack of opportunities in the Atlanta and surrounding area. Temp agencies post these positions and contact you one time and never follow up. There are people out here who have worked hard in relation to their education and trying to gain experience in the field, but no one wants to give them the opportunity to showcase their skills. I have a Bachelors and Master's degree and can not find a position that equates to the knowledge that I have obtained.
Recruiters and HR professionals, please give the candidates who have worked hard an opportunity and learn to follow-up. The lack of follow-up is very unprofessional and speaks volumes about your company.
