Global Investment Firm - Company Performance Group The Company Performance Group (“CPG”) is responsible for the compilation, analysis and reporting of performance investment data for The Company’s Real Estate division. This group is part of the Financial Control Group and consists of members located in both the Headquarters and Atlanta offices. The CPG is responsible for the availability, consistency, and accuracy of firm-wide statistical data used in both internal and external reports. Types of Reporting include: Marketing Presentations Industry Publications Offering Memorandums Client/Consultant Reporting Executive Management Reports The Group is the “gatekeeper” of firm-wide data and ensures that information is reported in conformity with industry and company standards. Through interaction with the Business Unit and the IT department, their goal is to develop systems and processes to safeguard the accuracy of the data and expedite the availability of information. In addition, the group identifies issues revolving around reporting and partners with the Business Unit to create, define, and implement firm-wide methodologies. The CPG group operates in an extremely dynamic environment where it continuously evaluates the Firm’s approach in reporting performance data, and the efficiency/effectiveness of the processes involved. Position Description Position: Associate Scope of Responsibilities: · Responsible for the preparation, compilation, analysis, and reporting of firm-wide Performance Data (4 main areas: Assets Under Management, Capital Transaction Volume, Rates of Return, and Invested Capital/Client Detail) · Responsible for responding to RFP’s, acting as the point of contact for quarterly consultant questionnaires, coordinating quarterly NCREIF submission · Ad hoc requests and special projects · Communicate directly with the following departments: Marketing, Investment Controllers, Fund Controllers, portfolio management, capital transactions, and legal · Assist in researching, developing, documenting and implementing firm-wide policies/procedures, company standards, and reporting methodologies related to firm-wide reporting · Interact with personnel in NY, Atlanta, Europe, and Asia · Special projects working with the IT department on creation of new systems, databases, applications and enhancements to existing systems/databases · High exposure to multiple disciplines within the company and participation in high profile reporting to executive management Skills Required: · Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills · Excellent verbal and written communication abilities · Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, accountability, ownership, and follow-up of projects · Possess a polished professional demeanor · Proactive and self-motivated (a go-getter) · Proficiency in excel and other windows-based software (advanced Excel formulas, macros, pivot tables, Access and Business Objects a plus) Educational/Experience Requirements: · Undergraduate degree in Accounting from a known and accredited institution · Approximately 3 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience, specifically in Audit (Big 4 or Local/Regional/National firms) Click here to apply online
