Let me first start off by saying this would have only upset you if you are one of the parents looking to pay less for your most precious gift from god.Secondly, you dont know if this lady was closed today due to vacation, family emergency or what the case could be so lets not begin to think she is not a great daycare provider.What the people are stating is the truth.We parents (myself included)will look for cheap care but will go out and pay $100 for a one time meal at a expensive restaurant or a expensive dress/shoes.We should pay more because these providers are doing us a service.We can't go to our 9 to 5 jobs so that we can take care of our families without someone taking care of our children.We dont want to pay the high tuitions that the CENTERS charge thats one reason that we look at in home daycares.The centers do the same jobs as a inhome daycare provider(some anyway).Our kids learn through play.Same as the EXPENSIVE CENTERS.In a CENTER our kids are learn, but its during circle time and not all day long.They watch educational films so they do watch TV too in the centers.So lets show these providers that we do apperciate them because they are doing a job that we cant do.And remember these people may be at home, but your child is happy, fed and looked after for 8-12 hour per day by the person who you entrusted with this life.We chose them, the provider did not choose us.I dont think that there is anything wrong with paying $125 per week for my 2-1/2year old who has been potty trained, learned his ABC's, 123's, colors,shapes, days of week/month along with a few spanish words(none that I know) by his provider.In fact his provider needs a raise. I need to bonus this woman. So again to all the parents who feel they pay too much and do not get quality care seek the CENTERS and see how much bang you will get for your bucks.
