Summary of Job:The Unix System Administrator will be responsible for performing functions such as analyzing, coordinating and/or assisting with resolution of customer impacted system/servers problem.Monitor daily operation of server environment.Production implementation planning, scheduling and development of associated implementation processes, managing all aspects of primarily Unix servers on which web applications and databases are hosted.Performing server maintenance including but not limited to tuning, capacity planning and forecasting, monitoring server alerts, working with the engineering team to assist in change control implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Other duties including infrastructure configuration standards including revision control.Implementation and administration of web and database server applications, as well as service packs, patch management systems, storage systems and related server technology.Help define support requirements, evaluate, test, document, and support hardware and software related utilities such as server and network management tools.Configuring and troubleshooting of client and server issues.Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less senior employees.Superior service problem solving and troubleshooting skills in multiple technical areas and providing exceptional customer service, communication skills, and technical writing skills for cooperative solution creation with peer and other technology groups;Work independently with minimal management supervision, ticket Management and prioritization, presenting solutions to peers and management.Provide scheduled and impromptu management reports.Sharing knowledge and training others in technology, process and procedures used by team.Design and maintain documentation and standards for efficient and consistent service delivery.Providing after hours support for planned maintenance, update technology, hardware and software during non business unit production hour and performing on-call emergency support serviceMust be able to take leadership roles as well as work in delivery roles.

Technical Requirements:
•Unix administration experience (server builds, upgrades, patches, clustering, user policies, scripting, etc.)
•Develop automation and process shell scripts via PERL/WMI, other languages, to perform application server administration tasks, including creation of scripts for alerts to provide maximum availability.
•Web server technologies (IIS, Apache, SSL, etc.) maintaining and configuring Apache Web server and MySQL databases, hardware troubleshooting skills and RAID configurations including SAN disk subsystems.
•Understanding of SMTP and SNMP, and the ability to write procedures, general system administration documentation.3 + years experience in a datacenter environment in support of Unix systems
•Send mail, Post Fix, Mysql
