GoBigReviews.com is a new company looking to grow a pool of designers for working with our "Full Service" request clients.
What is the ideal designer for GoBigReiews?
#1 Should have superior skills in a image editor such as Photoshop or equivalent. (REQUIRED)
#2 Basic understanding of HTML. Ability to copy and past code and third party software. (REQUIRED)
#3 Although this is not a sales job, our client many benefit from advice from our designers, consulting.(NOT-REQUIRED)
#4 Be able to accept payment online.Paypal, Linkpoint, or some online payment solution.We will not send checks in the mail. We follow laws regarding freelance work completely.(REQUIRED)
#5 Should be able to fully understand the GoBigReviews platform including all the present limitations. This is where the designer needs to understand what they can and can not do with the platform or API work. (REQUIRED)
#6 Experience with the BaceCamp project management platform. All correspondence with our clients will strictly be monitored through the BaseCamp platform. (BENEFICIAL)
#7 Experience with file conversion to MP3 format.Recording experience and mixing is a HUGE plus. (EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL)
#8 Obviously the more experience with the GoBigReviews Audio Player the better.(NOT-REQUIRED)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Using the our interface provided to the public, you will be connected to one our client to design a custom Skin for their AudioPlayer.There are two layers for design in the system, background and thumb area.
Through BaseCamp you will be connect directly to the client.Designers should ask questions and determine what is the ideal design. Understanding the layered aspects to the system is crucial.When appropriate, you can get images from the client to integrate into the design (ie. A head shot into the thumb layer).Or you could integrate these images in Photoshop and only utilize one layer for the Skin design.
The Skin design will form the complete look of the Audio Player w/ Review.In other words...There is not an Audio Player boarder, only the buttons are apparent. The designer can use any logo provided by the client or obtain the graphic ONLY with permission of respective company.
Additional responsibilities: The designer must ultimately produce a complete player for the client. The system is automated and designed for the customers to simply upload MP3 files and Images to oduce a completely functional Audio Player.For our Full-Service clients or (The people who can't figure it out kind), the designer must explain the what is needed from the client and assist them, even if it is simply explaining how to use the browse and upload feature in general. The designer will be pushing the limits of the Job Description if the involve themselves in the production of any MP3 work.The audio system allows Vocal and Background MP3 files to be uploaded, but does not allow volume control mixing at this time.A designer must be able to explain the possible scenarios with two MP3 Files playing at the same time without the background recorded at a much lower volume.Once all files (Inclding Custom Designed Skin) are uploaded, the embedded code generated should be copied and posted in Bas Camp for the client.The designer will be going beyond the call of duty consulting as to where to put the Object Code. (Ex. The system produces additional script for MySpace.com)Both sets of code should be provided to the client in Base Camp.Finally the designer should explain how to login to GoBigReviews and see the Comments and Rating feature for the player, our core value.Additional design work should be clearly defined and is billed on and hourly basis and should be coordinated through Base Camp.We use base camp to ensure our Designers do not "Change the Mind" of a client and sell them some other development solution.That's a NO, NO!
