Non-Profit animal shelter needs full time Kennel Tech to work M-F 7:30am-4:30pm.This person is responsible for care of resident dogs/cats at our shelter.Duties include such things as removing dogs from sleeping areas to outdoor areas, cleanup of sleeping areas, laundry, feeding, bathing and some grooming of dogs.The person in this position must have good interpersonal skills and will deal with staff, volunteers and prospective adopters at our shelter.Additional duties include assisting with pet adoptions, telephone work, data entry and pet photography.
Requirements:experience in handling dogs/cats, attention to detail, "can-do" attitude, willingness to do the "dirty work",and punctuality.
