Below are the facts: 1)Hit from behind by an Alpharetta, on-duty police officer with tow grill in front. The police car grill hit the tow hitch attached to the frame of a Jeep Charokee on Dec 24, 2006. 2)From accounts of others and police report, there was slight damage to both cars, not major damage. 3)My neck would not move sideways, up or down, basically frozen, so an ambulance was called. Diagnosis in hospital and by Orth Surgeon was cervical strain, basically whiplash. 4)Roughly 5k in medical bills, another 2k in lost work. Pain and suffering is hard to determine. 5)Insurance company offered $500 to settle 6)Filed small claims case but was dismissed due to issues with service of process, ante-litem not specific enough, and immunity of city(I would need to prove insurance via discovery).
