Are you disciplined and hardworking with creative graphics/magazine design experience? Can you bring order to chaos and deliver an eye-popping final product? Are you looking for flexible hours with a steady assignment?
Business magazine published, 6X a year needs new energy and fresh design. Position requires intense work on six deadlines a year with ancillary work between deadlines. This position is a freelance position. You will perform work in a home office or studio, not a central location. Our firm needs creativity, but practical experience in getting the magazine to the printer on deadline. Applicant must be able to pull together a 50-96 page magazine creatively and with attention to detail.Magazine layout experience, photo correction experience, pre-press/post-production experience, great time management skills, and STRONG ability to handle multiple projects is DEFINITELY a must.
You will need the following:Macintosh computer, Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat 7.0, Fetch, Flightcheck
SALARY: Magazine work will be paid at a rate of $20 per page and other assignments on a per project basis.
