Description

A well-recognized company in Southwestern Kentucky is looking to add an integral piece to their already highly-skilled team. This company, who is currently #3 in their industry and soon to be #2, is seeking a successful, driven Maintenance Engineer. This individual will be key in driving the maintenance goal of performing 70% of work on planned activity while limiting 30% of efforts to emergency unplanned failures. Creating one time and frequency driven PMs to perform planned work on components and systems before they fail will obviously be a key function for this position. The maintenance engineer will ensure that predictive maintenance tools are utilized. These tools will include thermography, vibration analysis and oil analysis.

Requirements

A degree is not necessary if individual has advanced experience, but a 4-year technical degree in engineering is preferred. Candidates are expected to have extensive experience in 6 sigma/lean green/black belt efforts, TPM planning and execution. This person must have the following skills:

· MP2 experience
· Create formal TPM exercise formats
· Generate feedback reporting
· Plan and organize multiple TPM cart/staging areas
· Front end load TPM exercises
· Coordinate and schedule exercises with our production customers
· Collect, trend and act on data gathered during the exercise
· Coordinate the production, maintenance and engineering personnel participating in the exercise.
· Generate standard brief After Action Reports summarizing the highlights of the items accomplished and data collected during the exercise.
· Understand and utilize lubrication standards, Poke Yoke, Go/No Go gauging and 5 S methodologies.
· Fundamental electrical and mechanical knowledge
· Extensive repair parts familiarization
· Assist in the integration of our CMMS with the accounting and other related I.T. systems as required/needed by those organizations.
· Root cause (Fishbone) analysis, development and utilization
· Prato Analysis
· Statistical data analysis (Minitab) skills are desired as well.
· Axapta skills/system knowledge (or any generic accounting software) experience is a plus
