Lead manufactoring continous improvement activities including cycle time, scrap reduction, productivity improvemnts, and process design and flow.Design,Specify, and maintain manufactoring equipment and processes to support optimized production of current and future products.Identify and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements for existing equipment, troubleshoot/resolve mechanical and electrical problems.Work concurrently win engineering during product developement to implement improvements and transfer new designs into production.Provide hands-on support for prodcution.Train operators in proper operations of equipment.Review engineering changes and conduct feasibility reviews.Direct preparation of pruduct layout and detailed drawing and schematics.Desighn modifications as required.Work with engineering to ensure that designs and design changes meet customer expectations and internal production capabilities.
SKILLS AND EDUCATION:BS in Engineering discipline, BSEE,BSME,or BSIE preffered. Minimum of 3 years exp in the manufactoring support of power inverters porwer converters, power modules or similar equipment preffered but not required.3-5 years experience in manufactoring support pf continuos improvement activities.Excellent analytical problem solving abilities.
