Technicians are required to provide technical isolation and repair support for Sprint Wireline/Wireless telephony network circuits. This is accomplished through Testing, segmentation and coordinating repair activities with multiple internal agencies, including Local Exchange and Alternate Access Vendors.Candidates must have a working knowledge of Basic Telephony, with a deep understanding of the Digital Hierarchy Multiplexing scheme and some OC-N level awareness. Candidates must be Customer Focus/Friendly, and able to work in a high-paced 24x7x365 environment, with the ability to multi-task effectively.Excellent Verbal and Written Communications skills are required.
Candidates must be able to work off hour shifts. These positions may cover the following shift times:
Days - 0700am to 3:00pm
Swings - 3:00pm to 1100pm
Mids - 1100pm to 0700am
This is a contract position with an initial term of four to six months and does have the possibility of becoming a long term position.
