 Second Shift Flexographic Press Operator The person in this position will be responsible for operating an Aquaflex 13" 4 color press, a Delta Press 1 color, and a Webtron press producing labels and parts for Electrical and Electronic markets. Having good computer skills is a plus. This candidate will be for setting up, running, and tearing down of machines during an average work shift. Candidates are also required to be able to lift 50 lbs routinely during a shift. Position work hours are from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am, Monday through Thursday with no future plans for.
When interviewing for this position, candidates should come prepared to demonstrate their skills of setting up, running, and tearing down a 4 color process job. Please be prepared to spend at least 4 hours during the interview process demonstrating your skills on the press. Please wear appropriate clothing to operate a press. Candidates will be required to:
-Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience operating a Flexo press
-Mix inks to match PMS colors or color proof
-Setup and run a 4 color process job
-Must have good computer skills
-Must have a knowledge of standard PS materials
-Must have good house keeping skills
-Must know how to handle and maintain anilox rolls
-Must know how to mount print plates
-Should have knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and resolve problems
-Must have great attendance
-Must have own transportation
-Must be self motivated
-Must be able to run an Arpeco or a table top rewinder
-Must know how to read blue prints
-Must have experience laminating multiple webs simultaneously
