I'm a mid 30's guitar player who has previously been signed to a major label, but really has zero interest in being signed again or touring.I have an established career path, and I'm in no way trying to "make it" in music.Having said that, I would certainly be interested in joining or helping to put together a truly kickass rock-based band.The primary goal is fun, but I really don't want to do anything unless it's capable of flooring people live.
The major prerequisite is a truly talented vocalist who has a firm grasp of feel, style, control, pitch, melody, etc.I would like to step into a rock-based situation (not a cover band), but rock comes in many forms from Black Sabbath to Radiohead, and I'm open to all of them.I'm essentially shooting for a group of musicians who have gotten past the learning curve and know how to play live and in the studio.Experience is a must.I'm an avid songwriter and have pro gear.
