SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
Develop new products and technology for our client's corporate business development group; including designing new products, concept development, analysis, prototyping, and testing.
Develop and meet product schedules
Create and present results to a broad audience
Work with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
Potential markets for product design:Light construction equipment; forestry, lawn, and garden products; outdoor power equipment; other hard goods.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
A minimum of 4 years relevant design experience, including exposure to, or proficiency in multiple engineering disciplines.
Demonstrated innovative thinking and problem solving
Capable of handling high workloads in a dynamic and challenging work environment
Excellent understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
Solid Modeling CAD skills and experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Personality skills include:Customer-centric; High Energy; Obstacle-breaking; Fast & Flexible; Creative; Non-bureaucratic; Performance & results oriented; Optimistic.
EDUCATION:
A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
