Our Client, a leading manufacturer of pre-engineered architectural metal products for commercial construction, is searching for a Product Manager who will take them to the next business level and beyond. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Subject matter expert while interfacing with Design and Development, Sales, Customer Services, Operations, Procurement and, Supply Chain Through close interaction with Design and Development teams, be responsible for introduction of new products and/or lead trials to modify or enhance existing products. Lead or assist with the process of identifying new projects. Assist with preparation and review of project cost estimates, engineering proposals, equipment selection, and monitor quality assurance of the project Monitor market trends and regulations Ability to manage by influence. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 - 10 years of sales experience in commercial construction materials 2+ years product management experience of Division 9 Finishes is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership skills including planning and fostering teamwork. CAD experience is a plus Ability to read and understand detail drawings Outstanding written and communication skills Acumen for financial matters (incremental cost, cost analysis, operating /material cost) Extremely organized Provide Troubleshooting expertise and make sound decisions.
