Overview:
Assists in meeting the strategic goals of the eMarketing department by assisting in the execution of online marketing programs to create company awareness and increase product sales. Assists in the development and generation of company’s weekly email marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
·Gathers all information and manages the addition of all new items to our system.
·Finalizes all new products and schedules them to post.
·Ensures all items have the appropriate related items attached.
·Maintains the upkeep and improvement of current product inventory.
·Adds appropriate new product related items to used equipment product merchandising.
·Assist in tasks related to our search engine optimization (SEO) strategy.
·Research general products and increase knowledge of the food service industry.
·Develop knowledge of our competition and their strengths.
·Develop an in depth knowledge of our product base and our preferred products and manufacturers.
·Keep up-to-date on developments and trends in the eMarketing industry.
·Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
·Ability to write clear, concise and original marketing collateral.
·Demonstrable knowledgeable of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
·GRAPHIC DESIGN SKILLS, WITH PORTFOLIO, HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
·Awareness of pay-per-click (PPC) and shopping comparison websites.
·Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Photoshop and HTML.
·Knowledge of restaurant equipment and/or online retail environment is desirable.
·Able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
·Ability to execute projects under accelerated time frames.
·Ability to communicate verbally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers.
·College degree, with major in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications is an advantage.
·Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
·Demonstrates the value of being a team player through his/her actions.
