Duravit USA, Inc is searching for hands on Production Foreman/Supervisor to lead a team of assembly line fitters in a fast paced environment.Foreman’s daily goal is to organize production to ensure the highest quality product is being produced within given cost parameters.Due to the high volume of sales, candidate must have strong organization skills and work well without direct supervision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·Overseeing the entire system tub manufacturing operation.
·Schedulingproduction, installation incl. employee planning.
·Coordinate ordering materials.
·Responsible for Production safety and Product Quality control.
·Ensure that a clean and safe working environment is maintained.
Education and Experience:
·2-5 years supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing and/or distribution required
·Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
·Work well without supervision
·Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
·Able to manage a multitude of different activities simultaneously.
·Must have a verifiable work history of career progression and stability.
·Must be physically fit and able to lift 80 pounds.
Qualifications:
·Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and produce manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
·Ability to organize and prioritize.
·Complete assignments in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
·Active listening skills and able to communicate objectives clearly.
·Commitment to the company goals and objectives.
·Ability to implement creative yet practical solutions.
