PRODUCTION SUPPORT ANALYST
Will have to take a simple SQL computer test at interview
This position will be responsible for handling merchant tracking responsibilities (offline and online), establishing and maintaining processor/ acquirer relationships, processing, analyzing and reporting on merchant transactional data.
General Competencies/ Requirements:
· 4 year degree required
· 1-2 years experience in ETL, analysis or operational capacity
· 1-2 years SQL required (in order to do research, including simple joins, groupings and orders)
· 1-2 years Unix experience required (especially in moving around in unix and the vi editor)
· Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks
· Payment products and systems experience a plus
· Well organized, process and detail oriented
· Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency with MS Office programs.
Duties: The Production Support Analyst will perform the following duties under the supervision of the Processing Manager:
• Assist in establishing merchant tracking by merchant identification number and/ or other means.
• Process transaction files, including reviewing input files, making database updates, testing all outputs.
• Analyze data and produce reports to assist in analysis and decision making.
• Work with merchant partners to implement and update merchant tracking measures.
• Develop and direct relationships with merchant processors/ acquirers to ensure access to loyalty transactional data for participating merchants. Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
• Process, track & evaluate key metrics for Online and Offline Sales.
• Perform recurring analysis of merchant transaction files to ensure accuracy and to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze, report and communicate key performance metrics for merchant partners. Work with merchant team and management to define reporting requirements and metrics for standard performance scorecards.
• Develop scorecard reporting centered around web metrics and transaction data. Ensure accuracy of merchant scorecards.
• Analyze results from promotional activities by business and market.
• Perform ad hoc data extraction, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare and format output for effective and accurate reporting to management.
• Perform special projects/other duties as required.
