ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Distribution – Distribute nutrition items to clients ; Maintain contact withclients to ensure weekly contact ; Inform clients of policies and procedures and enforce same. 2) Documentation and Reporting – Enter all nutrition items into computer system and provide weekly report 3) Client File and Data Maintenance- Assist in obtaining necessary paperwork to support grant requirements on a timely basis; Update database to reflect current client information 4) Supply Maintenance – Maintain supply inventory and order all supplies in a timely manner; Package all required items; Maintain daily refrigerator temperature log. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Individuals must be able to multi-task and work as part of a cohesive team.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or 3 years related experience in a social service setting or equivalent experience.Must be able to work effectively and communicate with clients in a culturally diverse environment.Knowledge of and experience working with HIV/AIDS is preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to communicate effectively with other professionals and clients, utilizing acceptable English grammar standards.Must possess effective oral and written communication skills. MATHEMATICS, REASONING, AND COMPUTER SKILLS Ability to perform simple math calculations as it applies to program reporting.Ability to solve practical problems and transfer current knowledge to new situations.Ability to enter data into a relational database, utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).Must have good organizational and record-keeping skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit at a computer, answer the telephone, use hands and arms to write, file, and perform other office duties.The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, and lift and/or move 25 pounds.The employee must be able to talk, hear, and see. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but constant.There is a moderate amount of interruptions, including telephone calls and client activity.
