Major Responsibilities: the Publications Specialist manages production of proposals, from creating an RFP-compliant Microsoft Word document template to boxing and shipping the finished proposal. Responsible for formatting documents, keying edits, printing, collating, assembling, and shipping proposals. The Specialist also supports the development of other proposal related documentation such as Requests for Information (RFIs), clarification requests, and oral presentations. Candidates must be VERY proficient in Microsoft Word with styles, formatting, and templates. Must be able to: # Create document templates with custom styles # Apply styles to ensure all documents conform to formats, styles, and standards # Insert section breaks and create documents with multiple sections containing different footers and/or headers # Insert graphics # Create, format, and recolor tables Other requirements: # Ability to work independently and as a member of a team # Attention to quality and detail # Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines # Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Education and Typical Years of Experience: Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
