QA - Functional Test Automation Expert
Skills:
We are in need of a Functional Test Automation Expert with very good working knowledge and skills in following automated test tools:
Mercury/HP Quick Test Pro and Quality Center/TestDirector
The candidate should be proficient with writing detailed and advanced automation scripts using the tools mentioned above
Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products
Should have experience with implementing advanced automation frameworks using Key-Word Driven, Data Driven or other
Have experience with building your own functional libraries to handle custom business functions
He/She should be familiar with variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performs variety of tasks
May lead and direct the work of others
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in core automation test tools functions. (Should have in-depth knowledge of the usage andadvance programming skills with the tools)
Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple complex and critical issues.
Interact with the customers like testing and application support groups and keep up with their requirements to automate the application.
Forecasts and plans for supporting both applications functionality and capacity requirements in a rapidly growing, changing and complex environment.
Maintain the stability of the automated scripts as well as maintain the integrity of the data they contain.
Ability to prioritize the functionality of an application with higher impact.
Assess critical path and assist in implementation of any project required by the business
