Tensar Corporation, LLC a dynamic, rapidly growing manufacturer of polymeric products, located in Morrow, Georgia, is looking for a Quality Control Technician.
Responsibilities will include:
•Proficiency in QC testing equipment and procedures.
•Proficiency in sampling, testing, recording, and data entry of raw materials and product test results.
•Work with production operators to ensure work-in-process and product sampling needs are met during production.
•Perform quality assurance line checks twice a shift and related data entry.
•Make decisions on product non-conformance issues, and follow non-conformance procedures through to completion.
•Maintain laboratory filing system to ensure ease of data retrievability.
•Perform other duties as directed by the QA Laboratory supervisor.
Hours:
•This position requires working a 12-hour rotating shift and every other weekend.
Education/Experience:
•Previous QC laboratory work experience desirable.
•Very Good Mathematical Skills
•Possess oral and written communication, organizational, computer, and calculator skills.
•All candidates must pass a mathematics proficiency test .
•Fluency in English and familiarity with metric units of measure, and equivalencies.
•Associates degree desired, not required.
