Will grow Major Accounts, assist in throughput revenue generation, train clients on platform usability and manage through-client customers. This is a revenue farming role that is accountable for growing established relationships. Primary objective for managing these relationships is to grow and expand the diversity of the revenue stream, quality of traffic and depth of coverage. This is a strategic planning role that requires data analysis skills, strategic objective planning and consultative communication skills. Responsibilities: - Reports to the Director of Account Management. - Manage implementation workflow of new Major Accounts following contract signing. - Working with the Director of Account Management in implementing comprehensive professional account management solutions, including maximizes revenue potential for the publisher network - Work with Major Accounts to determine go-to-market sales and marketing strategy following AdCenter implementation. - Work with Major Accounts to analyze traffic patterns, advertiser performance and strategize on optimization opportunities to mature shared revenue growth opportunities. - Work with various groups within LookSmart (Product, Marketing, Ad Operations, Trafficking, Finance and Engineering) to implement, maintain and enhance partner co-branded sites. - Build strong, lasting relationships with partners by understanding their needs and business objectives. - Work with other team members to compile general performance metrics for the Partnership Portfolio as a whole, with particular emphasis on tracking performance against goals set by management on a monthly and quarterly basis. Required Qualifications: - Minimum 5 - 8 years’ account management/account executive experience, with a revenue quota responsibility. - Knowledge of CPM - Understanding of an auction based CPC environment. - Data analysis skill set, proven track record of evaluating metrics and determining actionable strategies to improve revenue-driving initiatives. - Proven track record of ability to forge and maintain good business relationships across client organizations on a senior level. - Excellent communication and presentations skills with top-notch partner management approach. - Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment and to demonstrate thoughtful leadership in assessing problems/opportunities and recommending an approach to solving problems and pursuing opportunities. - Ability to work successfully in a team environment, liaising with all other organizations within LookSmart including Product, Finance, Engineering, Sales, Ad Operations, Marketing. - General understanding of the Internet and of the media and business models that have shaped it.
