Linux RedHat/Unix Solaris Engineer Needed at Industry Leading Aeronautics Company. Our company provides IT business solutions for the aeronautics industry and has been around for over 50 years.
The ideal candidate must have: - Linux RedHat experience (ES 4/5, 7/8) - Unix Solaris 8/9/10 preferred - Ability to demonstrate senior-level ability in the application of technology. - Eight to ten years IT experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in maintaining Linux and Unix systems.
Some other strong selling points are: - Tomcat and Apache web server experience - Experience with Veritas, NetBackup and NDMP - Ability to support a SAN environment - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
