Artist Statement
My love to create goes back as far as I can remember.I love to have a finished product and the knowledge that my art could touch someone else's life as much as it has touched mine.I like painting with acrylic and utilizing very vivid color within my paintings.The people in my paintings all have a story to tell.The tone of their skin directly corresponds with the depth of their being.Most of the figures I paint are women.I have come in contact with some very courageous women in my life and admire them for not on their distinct beauty bit for the trials and adversity they have overcome.
