Software Revenue Recongition Manager
We are actively interviewing for four Software Revenue Recognition Analysts.

This is a rewarding and unique opportunity for a career-minded professional with hands-on software revenue recognition experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Performing the accounting functions,including financial analysis, revenue recognition, accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial results and other financial support. Perform reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts to ensure the accuracy of each account. Perform software revenue recognition analysis and track deferred revenue in compliance with SOP 97-2, 81-1 and SAB 101. Assist in the closing the books process on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Assist in the preparation of financial statements for internal reporting purposes at a client and site level. Assist with the validation of externally reported financial statements. Review financial results on a monthly, quarter and yearly basis and assist in providing variance explanations to upper management. Responsible for the preparation of financial information/analysis through use of Excel/ PeopleSoft databases and queries.

Requires knowledge of the principles and theories of accounting and finance, and other disciplines to plan, design and conduct business analyses

Assist in the preparation of weekly forecast and annual budgets
Assist the Division Controller and Assistant Corporate Controller in various projects. Special projects will be assigned on an as-needed basis.

Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in accounting required (CPA a plus)
Accounting department experience required
Extremely detail oriented and organized
Software revenue recognition experience a must
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong sense of ownership and urgency
4-8 years experience working in an accounting department
Experience with an ERP system, databases & requires is required (experience with SAP, ORACLE or PeopleSoft and SQL a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required
GL experience preferred
