SENIOR DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL REPORTING

This outstanding company is seeking a Senior Director Financial Reporting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Direct the preparation and analysis of a wide variety of financial and other reports including SEC filings (will supervise and review the preparation of filings;
- Facilitate research on a variety of technical accounting and business issues;
- LEAD preparation of reports and analysis designed to communicate selected financial data to Senior
-LEAD participation in companies compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act;
-Direct various special projects as requested.
Successful candidate will possess the following:
BS in Accounting or Finance.
CPA
6-7 years of practical SEC and ERISA reporting experience, preferably in a Big 4 public accounting environment servicing consumer products or financial services.
Prior people management experience.
Experience serving multi-national clients. (Strongly preferred.)
Strong preference will be given to candidates possessing SEC experience within a public accounting environment, within the most recent 18-24 months.
Must possess CPA
Required Competencies:
Excellent communication ability, both written as well as oral;
Self-starter ability critical to success of position incumbent;
Strong analytical and PC skills a must; ability to work well in a team environment
Strong leadership skills.
