A lecture given by Dr. David Neiman (1921-2004), the first Jewish scholar appointed to teach Religion at Boston College. He served as Professor in the Department of Theology for a quarter of a century.
The Roman occupation of the Kingdom of Judea causes splits within the Jewish people and shifts in the predominant power structures. The outcome of these struggles defined the Jewish religion for the next two-thousand years.
