Job Summary:

DTI is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Sales. This position will have the responsibility to manage, grow and oversee sales team within a defined geographical region through developed marketing strategies. In addition, the position will be responsible for the direct management of personnel, equipment and all other company assets. Provide strategic management direction to grow revenues, generate new business and achieve budget profit.


Management Responsibilities:

• Recruit, develop and train sales team into high performance team to optimize profitable revenue growth.
• Establish a backlog of “A” player candidates to fill positions quickly and maintain full staff at all times.
• Prepare action plans by individuals on sales team to ensure focused activity.
• Conduct one-on-one developmental with all direct reports to build more effective communication, to more clearly understand training and development needs to provide insights to each individual as to how to improve his/her management ability
• Maintain weekly repots of errors, deadline compliance, sales activity, revenue tracking and other financial information.


Business Development Responsibilities:

• Annual business plan for business line
• Annual budget plan for business line
• Meet and exceed budgeted sales revenue and operating income.
• Responsible for the performance and development of production team
• Responsible for the performance of sales team
• Responsible for the performance of administrative team
• Display high ethics standard, integrity, work ethic, and company loyalty


Required Credentials:

• Bachelors’ degree in business management or related field. MS or MBA preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in the printing business
• Minimum 3 years management experience with heavy profit and loss responsibility
• Working knowledge of PC applications
• Experience managing multi-site operations
