JOB DESCRIPTION – SEO SUPPORT & TECHNICAL ANALYST ROLE

The Job:
The SEO support person for Medium Blue takes care of details for the SEO department. This will serve as an apprenticeship for candidates with the right aptitude and enthusiasm to move into the role of SEO Technical Analyst. The SEO Technical Analyst is responsible for keeping up with the search engine industry, researching new trends and helping the R & D department dig down into search engine algorithms to determine what works and what doesn’t. This role will report to the R & D director.
Although this is an entry-level position, the right candidate will be rewarded with a unique opportunity to grow with our company and learn search engine optimization from an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
This isn’t a “make copies, do filing, get coffee” sort of job. You’ll be right in the middle of everything all the time.
Your responsibilities as the SEO support person for Medium Blue will cover a lot of ground:
•Link building and directory evaluations
•Competitor and website monitoring
•Limited keyphrase evaluation
•Limited optimization recommendations
•Much more (if you like surfing the Web, you’ll do well).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics-related, or Programming fields is preferred, but not 100% required. If you’re a motivated, analytical person who is looking for a challenge, we want to hear from you.
Knowledge of html a definite plus.
