We are looking for a Search Marketing Associate to work at least 20-30 hours to start.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Implement and manage online media campaigns and programs for key clients (e.g., pay-per-click search engine marketing(Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc), paid inclusion, and other pay-for-performance marketing).
• Assist with preparing weekly reports for clients, including communicating key metrics, goal attainment, time-based progress comparisons and completed/planned activities.
• Analyze and report keyword/listing performance based on specific metrics using Excel pivot tables and recommend action (e.g., keyword deletion, bid changes, copy changes).
• Maximize all available internet search inventory through effective keyword and URL feed expansions.
• Assist in meetings and preparing proposals.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Create content for network of websites/blogs.
• Reports to VP, Marketing Strategy
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, communications, and/or marketing.
- 1 to 2 years experience in Online Marketing roles for professional service businesses.
- Ability to multi-task, be self-disciplined, and complete projects on time.
- Strong understanding of Internet technologies and operations of commercial Web sites.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills.
- An aptitude for creative problem-solving with acute attention to detail within deadlines.
- Familiar with small business issues and working with owners and entrepreneurs
- Track record of working effectively with others and the ability to foster teamwork.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work without supervision as a self-starter and consistently meets set goals.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs, efficient frontier)
