JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Accounting Professional at The Siegfried Group LLP provides day to day client service to Fortune 1000 companies. Primary areas of focus include Financial Statement Audit, Internal Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, General Corporate Accounting Support, and Special Project Management.
Typical Engagements Include:
•Internal/External Financial Reporting
•Accounting Process Enhancement
•Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis
•Merger/Acquisition Integration
•Carve-out/Divestiture Support
•SOX/Internal Audit
•Assurance/External Audit
•Special Projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Undergraduate degree in Accounting – CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience will be considered in lieu of Undergraduate degree in Accounting
•3-9 years in public accounting or large corporation experience in an internal audit or corporate accounting environment (minimum of 2 busy seasons at a large public accounting firm).
•Strong general accounting knowledge – General Ledger, Financial/SEC Reporting, Financial Analysis, etc.
•Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•High energy with a commitment to quality client service
•ERP/Financial Software experience including: Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
