Computer Mainstream Corporation (CMC) is a currently looking to identify a Marketing Senior Database Developer, for one of our clients in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
This would be a short term project with potential to go longer.

The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Developing logical and physical data models
- Constructing metadata repository as per IT standards
- Working very closely with clients, business analysts, applications development staff, project managers, while planning, designing, developing, implementing, and enhancing applications scripts, procedures, and metadata for relational databases
- Evaluating new tools and methodologies as required
- Reviewing current data structures and recommend optimizations and reconfigurations as needed
- Adhering to database change control and versioning procedures and interface with Database Administrators while migrating complex applications into test, and production environments
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in a related IT field, or equivalent work experience
- 3 to 5 years experience as a senior Database Developer or Data Architect
- 3 to 5 years experience with building data models using relational and dimensional modeling
- 3 to 5 years experience in data modeling tools such as ERWIN, ER/Studio, extensive knowledge in meta data repository tools
- 3 to 5 years experience with UNIX
- 3 to 5 years experience with Oracle 9i or 10g
- 3 to 5 years experience building and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases
- 3 to 5 years experience developing database design documents
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Minimum Years of experience needed for required skills: 3-5
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OLAP technologies
- Knowledge of XML
- Experience with Business Objects
- Experience with authentication structures such as LDAP
- Experience working in a project oriented, matrix organization
