Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is underway with their 10 year, $5.4 Billion capital expansion program known as the Hartsfield-Jackson Development Program (H-JDP). Leibowitz & Horton Airport Management Consultants, Inc. is responsible for the financial aspects of the H-JDP and seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team. Key responsibilities of the senior finance analyst include:
• Analyze and maintain comprehensive financial data for all H-JDP projects
• Analyze and maintain funding, interim-funding and reimbursement of interim-funding for all H-JDP projects
• Assist with the analysis of H-JDP costs to City of Atlanta records and various systems utilized within the H-JDP
• Assist in preparing applications for Federal Aviation Administration entitlement and discretionary grants, passenger facility charges and Letters of Intent
• Prepare and analyze various business scenarios for H-JDP projects requiring new or modified business arrangements
• Assist with a variety of special projects as requested by City of Atlanta and H-JDP management
• Analyze current work procedures, processes and applications; design and develop solutions for improvement
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in accounting or finance; Masters of Business Administration preferred
• Certified Public Accountant required
• Minimum of five years progressive experience in accounting or finance
• Airport management experience beneficial but not required
Skills:
• Ability to obtain data from various sources, understanding the source and nature of the data while processing and assembling information into meaningful analysis
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial documents, legal documents, technical procedures, government regulations, professional journals, or general business correspondence and periodicals
• Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from within and outside the organization in a professional manner
• Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Suites and ability to quickly adapt/learn H-JDP software
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and effectively
