Prepares consolidated financial reports for external reporting purposes.Plan and prepare all quarterly and annual SEC filings.Research and resolve any complex technical accounting issues.Prepare the financials for the press release and review the document for accuracy.Support the Corporate Development department in the mergers and acquisition process.Lead in the implementation of any new accounting pronouncements.Ensure that internal divisions, business units and departments adhere to US GAAP.Receives general direction on new assignments and manages the activities of the financial reporting department.Assist Corporate Controller in meeting internal control requirements established by the “Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.”
·Plan and prepare all external reporting requirements, including the 10K, 10Q and special filings.
·Validate integrity of data and ensure accuracy of financial statements
·Research, analyze and interpret technical accounting issues and propose recommendations to management.
·Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for complex accounting projects, such as acquisitions, divestitures and new GAAP accounting requirements.
·Act as key contact for external auditors.
·Understand and verify owners maintain/update internal controls surrounding key accounting cycles for the Global operations.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required.Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of accounting experience.
