Imaging Solutions and Services, Inc. (ISSI) is searching for a Software Development Engineer.Initially, this will be a contract position.The contract will start within the next 4 weeks and last for an initial duration of 6 to 8 months.There is a very high likelihood of contract extension past the initial contract length or a transition to fulltime employment. This position is responsible for providing application development services for our clients in Atlanta and throughout the US.Our company delivers customized document management and process management solutions, implementing products by Interwoven, OnBase and Kofax Ascent.Qualified applicants will work in a technical team environment to develop, deploy, and test custom applications related to solutions built around the aforementioned products.Product specific training will be provided. Job Responsibilities: ·Work with internal resources to design, specify, and deploy custom applications.These would include small, standalone applications as well as larger customization for existing Interwoven and OnBase systems based on their API or SDK. ·Fully document all development work. ·Execute test plans, cases, and other documentation for functional testing. ·Fully document all test results. ·Independently analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex tasks or problems related to systems and applications. Applicant Qualifications: ·Proven experience to use Object Oriented programming design and development. ·Excellent debug and problem solving skills. ·Proven ability to work logically and systemically. ·Proven ability to work well under stress. ·Proven skills coding in VB.NET and ASP.NET. ·Experience implementing or supporting Interwoven (formerly iManage) WorkSite very desirable. ·BS in Computer Science or Engineering, MS in computer-related field is a plus. ·Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments. ·Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server. ·Knowledge of network systems and three-tier architectures. ·Clear and effective written and verbal communications skills. ·Solid work ethic with a willingness to work hard to meet client demands. ·Self-motivated, organized, and energetic. Working Conditions: ·Work will take place on-site at the client locations in Midtown Atlanta and Lilburn, Georgia. ·Work will take place during office hours on weekdays. ·A development PC and suitable test environment will be provided.
