The idea that pet overpopulation is animal cruelty is the basis of our organization. SpayGeorgia's mission is direct and straightforward: Reduce the number of dogs and cats who are homeless by providing low cost spay/neuter certificates to Georgia residents in need of financial assistance. More than 105 participating veterinarians throughout the state have generously agreed to perform routine spay/neuter procedures at substantially discounted fees for SpayGeorgia certificate holders.
We need some expert fundraisers and PR-Marketing people to help. Our resources are not bottomless and they need to be bolstered so we can continue helping spay/neuter.
We hope you will recognize the severity of the suffering of thousands of unwanted cats and dogs in your community. You can help by assisting with any of our various events and activities.
SpayGeorgia receives no federal, state, county, or other governmental funding. We depend completely on volunteers and donations. Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
